This Return & Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which products purchased from AUTOM8 may be returned or refunded.
1. Eligibility for Returns
Returns are accepted for standard hardware products within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

The item is unused and in original condition

All original packaging, manuals, and accessories are included

The product has not been installed, modified, or damaged

Proof of purchase is provided
Custom-engineered systems, configured controllers, special-order equipment, and installed systems are non-returnable unless defective.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:

Custom-built automation panels

Configured PLCs, controllers, or firmware-modified devices

Software licenses

Installed equipment

Clearance or final-sale items
3. Damaged or Defective Products
If a product arrives damaged or defective:

You must notify us within 5 business days of delivery

Provide photos and a description of the issue

Do not install or operate the product
Approved defective items will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion.
4. Return Process
To request a return:

Wait for return authorization before shipping any item.

Ship the product using a trackable service.
Unauthorized returns may be rejected.
5. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a verified defect.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
AUTOM8 is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
6. Inspection & Refunds
Once received, returned items will be inspected.
If approved:

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
If the item does not meet return conditions, it may be shipped back at the customer’s expense.
7. Project-Based Services
For engineering, installation, and integration services:

Deposits are non-refundable once project work has commenced.

Cancellation fees may apply depending on project stage and incurred costs.
Specific terms will be outlined in signed service agreements.
8. Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to product availability and price differences. Additional charges may apply.
